Conference Convening

Member of the organising committee for the first international conference on History, Philosophy and Science Teaching held at Florida State University in November 1989, the second international conference held at Queen's University, Canada, in May 1992, and the third international conference, held in Minneapolis, October 1994, the fourth international conference, Calgary, Canada, April 1997, the fifth international conference, Como, Italy, September 1999, the sixth international conference, Denver, November 2001.

Invited Lectures

In the past ten years I have given over 40 lectures to Philosophy, Education, and Physics departments in eight different countries. These have included annual conference presentations at the major science education and philosophy of education conferences in Australia and the USA, as well as at three biennial meetings of the European Physical Society's History of Physics Division.
